The new restaurant, Marco, in London’s Chelsea Football Club is sporting the same design on its floors and ceilings as I saw featured in a retro room setting in House and Garden’s October 2007 issue (above right) . Personally I could see this graphic all day long everywhere, it’s such a classic design. Originally used as a 50’s chair cane pattern, this retro graphic put in a black and white color palette and used on curtains or, as in the restaurant, Marco, on floor tiles, becomes luxe and modern.
