Smoky and warm: burnt orange meets dark grey.
.
Burnt orange was a big deal color on the runways for fall 08 fashion, as was grey. The two together make the definitive casual contemporay statement in home and while we may be just getting out of winter here, keep these color combos on your radar for the holidays.
For an equally exciting but more modern take, check out Palm Beach, from Jab Anstoetz Modern Collection. All variations of black and grey textures–you’ve got chenilles, cut velvets, houndstooth weaves and stripes– all in the same room, but somehow managing to radiate cool chic. Well, for someone who is a texture hound like me, it’s a little piece of nirvana.
The fun just begins here though with these two images. If you have some time, visit Jab Anstoetz’ website, there’s much more to pour over, and something for everyone’s tastes and styles. The history of their company page was interesting too……it’s still a family business today but with some of the largest textile holdings in the world I would say.
